The Pittsburgh Green New Deal educational committee works to spread knowledge and consciousness about the science of the climate crisis, environmental justice, and ways to advance regional, national, and global Green New Deals through policy, advocacy, organizing, and direct action. Such activity includes in-person and Zoom reading groups, conferences, and presentations to community groups, churches, and unions.
